Detection of second-order nonlinear optical magnetization by mapping normalized Stokes parameters [PDF]
A measurable magnetic (nonlocal) contribution to the second harmonic generation (SHG) of nonmagnetic materials is an intriguing issue related to chiral materials, such as biomolecules.

Harmonic Resonance Mode Analysis in dq Domain [PDF]
Harmonic Resonance Mode Analysis (HRMA) is a technique developed to study harmonic resonance in a power system. Compared to conventional resonance analysis techniques, HRMA is a powerful method that can indicate the origin and the locations most affected

Harmonic resonance phenomena on nonlinear SH waves [PDF]
The interaction of shear horizontal (SH) waves in a two layered elastic medium and its mth harmonic component is studied. The dispersion relation is analysed to obtain the wave number-phase velocity pairs where the third and fifth harmonic resonance ...

Resonant enhancement of generation of harmonics
We develop a Floquet based formalism which describes a process of the generation harmonics of in an atom driven by a laser field. Using this formalism, we show that several harmonics are strongly enhanced in the spectrum when the laser frequency is such that a multiphoton resonance occurs between the initial state and a quasienergy state. We illustrate
