Even harmonic resonance-an unusual problem
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2003The paper is a case study examining the cause, effect and solution of an actual "noncharacteristic" even harmonic problem in an electrochemical plant. While issues concerning "characteristic" harmonics are well documented in the literature, limited information is available describing how noncharacteristic harmonic currents create operational problems ...

Harmonic multiplication using resonant tunneling
Journal of Applied Physics, 1988We propose and demonstrate an odd-harmonic resistive multiplier that exploits the unique current-voltage (I-V) relation of resonant-tunneling diodes. It is shown that efficient odd-harmonic conversion is possible and that even harmonics do not appear because of the antisymmetry of the I-V curve. In addition, with the proper choice of resonant-tunneling

Resonance-enhanced high-harmonic generation
Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, 1999In this paper we present some results of a high-harmonic generation experiment in argon, performed with a Ti sapphire laser (787 nm, 140 fs) and a spatially shaped focus (flat top). The range of intensities is 3-100 TW cm(-2) The intensity dependence of the harmonic signal shows an interesting behaviour of the 13th harmonic, namely an initial ...

Coherent Multiphoton Resonant Interaction and Harmonic Generation
Topical Meeting on Ultrafast Phenomena, 1986As a succession of two pulses propagates through a medium which exhibits a resonance (single or multiphoton), the resonant parts of the susceptibility will depend on the relative phase of the two pulses, provided the delay between the pulses is shorter than the phase relaxation time of the interaction.

Abstract Resonant harmonic filters are installed at terminals of high-power current harmonics-generating loads usually three-phase rectifiers and converters. Such filters were for decades effective devices for reducing harmonic distortion in distribution systems.

This publication summarizes a series of experiments that reverse-engineer Nikola Tesla’s theoretical wireless-energy grid using acoustic analysis. By translating Tesla’s resonant 3-6-9 structure into controlled audio frequencies, the study demonstrates measurable harmonic coherence, phase stability, and geometric symmetry identical to Tesla’s predicted

This study introduces a novel communication architecture based on the Resonant Order Theory of Everything (ROTE). By harnessing φ-shell standing wave harmonics, the framework demonstrates real-time, phase-coherent signal transmission with high resilience to decoherence and signal collapse.

Resonant String-Harmonic Theory
Strings are not fundamental — they are standing-wave resonance modes of a universal harmonicsubstrate. The UHFF’s phase-locked harmonic field is the world-sheet on which strings vibrate.Extra dimensions are overtone-nested toroidal harmonics, not compactified Calabi–Yau spaces.openaire +1 more source
Power system harmonic resonance: a documented case
Conference Record of 1988 Annual Pulp and Paper Industry Technical Conference, 1990Harmonic resonance occurs in a power system when the power system's natural frequency corresponds to the frequency of a source of harmonic current. A case of power system harmonic resonance which resulted in failure of 13.8 kV switchgear and consequential plant losses is documented.
