Classes of Harmonic Functions Related to Mittag-Leffler Function

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
The purpose of this paper is to find new inclusion relations of the harmonic class HF(ϱ,γ) with the subclasses SHF*,KHF and TNHF(τ) of harmonic functions by applying the convolution operator Θ(ℑ) associated with the Mittag-Leffler function. Further for ϱ=

Redox Complexity in Sodium Manganese Hexacyanomanganate and Its Influence on Sodium‐Ion Storage Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The role of each Mn site in the Na3‐xMn[Mn(CN)6]·zH2O compounds’ redox activity was investigated using a combined experimental–computational approach, which shows that only the low‐spin Mn‐C site undergoes redox changes (Mn1+ to Mn4+), while high‐spin Mn‐N remains unchanged. The study confirms the presence of the Mn1+ intermediate and newly reveals its

Convolutions for special classes of harmonic univalent functions

open access: yesApplied Mathematics Letters, 2003
Let \(\mathcal{H}\) be the class of harmonic univalent functions \(f(z)\) defined in the open unit disk of the complex plane and normalized by \(f(0)=0\) and \(f_z(0)=1\). Let \(\mathcal{S}_H\) be the subclass of \(\mathcal{H}\) consisting of sense-preserving mappings.

Certain convex harmonic functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
We define and investigate a family of complex-valued harmonic convex univalent functions related to uniformly convex analytic functions. We obtain coefficient bounds, extreme points, distortion theorems, convolution and convex combinations for this ...

The Benjamin–Ono Equation in the Zero‐Dispersion Limit for Rational Initial Data: Generation of Dispersive Shock Waves

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The leading‐order asymptotic behavior of the solution of the Cauchy initial‐value problem for the Benjamin–Ono equation in L2(R)$L^2(\mathbb {R})$ is obtained explicitly for generic rational initial data u0$u_0$. An explicit asymptotic wave profile uZD(t,x;ε)$u^\mathrm{ZD}(t,x;\epsilon)$ is given, in terms of the branches of the multivalued ...

Harmonic Univalent Functions with Negative Coefficients

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1998
Denote by \(S_H\) the class of functions \(f\) of the form: (1) \(f= h+\overline g\) that are harmonic univalent and sense-preserving in the unit disc \(\Delta= \{z:| z|< 1\}\) for which \(f(0)= f_z(0)- 1=0\) and by \(S^0_H\) the subclass of \(S_H\) for which \(f_{\overline z}(0)= 0\).

Classes of Harmonic Functions Defined by Subordination

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2015
New classes of univalent harmonic functions are introduced. We give sufficient coefficient conditions for these classes. These coefficient conditions are shown to be also necessary if certain restrictions are imposed on the coefficients of these harmonic

Acid Resistant and Highly Silver Selective Membranes Based on Charged Nanoporous 2D‐Materials

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
In this work, new membranes based on charged & nanoporous nanosheets with unprecedented selectivity to silver versus a wide range of other metallic ions are reported. Furthermore, a demonstrated and lead specific intralamellar lead pathway is demonstrated. A potential applicability for ubiquitous silver in WEEE is validated.
