Structure and Dynamics of Porin Loops in Asymmetric Outer Membranes of E. coli

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
What are loops of membrane proteins doing within the oligosaccharide coat of cells? This structurally unexplored space is studied by solid‐state NMR, with the outer membrane protein G (OmpG) embedded in asymmetric E. coli outer membrane (OM) vesicles as a paradigmatic example.

Non‐Covalent Fluorine–Silica Anchoring of a Molecular Platinum(II) bis(NHC) Catalyst: Structure, Interface Control, and Hydrosilylation Activity

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A Pt(II) bis(NHC) complex is immobilized on mesoporous silica through directional F–Si interactions encoded in the ligand framework. Quantitative 19F{29Si} REDOR experiments and molecular dynamics simulations establish Å‐scale catalyst–support contacts and define the interfacial organization.

The Price of Circularity: Exploring the Determinants of Consumer Willingness to Pay

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The transition towards a circular economy (CE) requires not only technological and organisational innovation but also consumer engagement in adopting circular products. A key driver of this process is consumers' stated willingness to pay (WTP) a premium, which remains constrained by psychological, perceptual and contextual barriers.
