Complex continued fractions with restricted entries

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1998
We study special infinite iterated function systems derived from complex continued fraction expansions with restricted entries. We focus our attention on the corresponding limit set whose Hausdorff dimension will be denoted by $h$. Our primary goal is to

Dual energy CT and deep learning for an automated volumetric segmentation of the major intracranial tissues: Feasibility and initial findings

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Background Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has traditionally been preferred over computed tomography (CT) for segmentation of intracranial structures due to its superior low contrast resolution. However, a reliable CT‐based segmentation could improve patient management when MRI is not practical.

Longitudinal assessment of radiosurgery response in small brain metastases: AI‐driven precision tumor segmentation and monitoring on serial MRI

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Background The conventional method of assessing radiotherapy outcome in brain metastases (BM) is based on monitoring tumor size alterations on serial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). To accurately determine changes in tumor dimensions, targets require delineations on several volumetric images acquired before treatment and at multiple follow ...

Advances in Deep Learning Applications for Choroidal Images Analysis: A Narrative Review

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Clinical detection and evaluation of the choroid primarily rely on imaging and subsequent image analysis. The application of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly deep learning (DL), in the analysis of choroidal images shows significant potential for improving accuracy and efficiency.

Multi‐Head Convolution Module With Dynamic Feature Fusion for Medical Image Segmentation

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This article combines CNN and Transformer to propose a multi‐head mixed channel convolution and DFA module, which enhances the extraction and fusion of multi‐scale features. Used on three publicly available datasets, the results showed better performance than state‐of‐the‐art models.
