Boundary unique continuation in planar domains by conformal mapping
Abstract Let Ω⊂R2$\Omega \subset \mathbb {R}^2$ be a chord arc domain. We give a simple proof of the the following fact, which is commonly known to be true: a nontrivial harmonic function which vanishes continuously on a relatively open set of the boundary cannot have the norm of the gradient which vanishes on a subset of positive surface measure (arc ...

On the exceptional set in Littlewood's discrete conjecture
Abstract We consider a discrete analogue of the well‐known Littlewood conjecture on Diophantine approximations and obtain a strong upper bound for the number of exceptional vectors in this conjecture.

Fourier analytic properties of Kakeya sets in finite fields
Abstract We prove that a Kakeya set in a vector space over a finite field of size q$q$ always supports a probability measure, whose Fourier transform is bounded by q−1$q^{-1}$ for all non‐zero frequencies. We show that this bound is sharp in all dimensions at least 2.

Abstract Background Automatic contouring can reduce the time required for delineating organs at risk (OARs) in brachytherapy planning and minimize interobserver variability. Purpose This study aimed to develop and evaluate a deep learning‐based automatic contouring model for OARs in three‐dimensional image‐guided brachytherapy (3D‐IGBT) for cervical ...

Feasibility and Tumor Dynamics of Daily MRI‐Guided Online Adaptive Radiotherapy for Brain Glioma
The apparent tumor dynamics were observed during chemoRT in patients with brain glioma. MRIgOART not only corrected daily anatomical variations but also enabled real‐time assessment of treatment response, thereby facilitating dynamic optimization of concomitant therapy protocols.

Isoperimetric inequalities on slabs with applications to cubes and Gaussian slabs
Abstract We study isoperimetric inequalities on “slabs”, namely weighted Riemannian manifolds obtained as the product of the uniform measure on a finite length interval with a codimension‐one base. As our two main applications, we consider the case when the base is the flat torus R2/2Z2$\mathbb {R}^2 / 2 \mathbb {Z}^2$ and the standard Gaussian measure

We provide the first in vivo visualization of the prefrontal cortex's short‐range connections by guiding diffusion tractography with past histological findings. This approach accurately reconstructs intricate local pathways, bridging non‐human primate tract‐tracing and human imaging to reveal a reliable yet individualized structural fingerprint of ...

Abstract Background Multimaterial decomposition (MMD) in dual‐energy CT enables iodine quantification, critical for diagnostic applications. However, residual errors from noniodine materials in iodine maps limit accuracy, especially in complex thoracic regions and low‐dose settings.
