The McMillan Theorem for Colored Branching Processes and Dimensions of Random Fractals

open access: yesEntropy, 2014
For the simplest colored branching process, we prove an analog to the McMillan theorem and calculate the Hausdorff dimensions of random fractals defined in terms of the limit behavior of empirical measures generated by finite genetic lines.

Edge Eigenface Weighted Hausdorff Distance for Face Recognition [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2011
The different face regions have different degrees of importance for face recognition. In previous Hausdorff distance (HD) measures, points are treated as same importance, or weight different points that calculated from gray domain.

Singularities of the divergence of continuous vector fields and uniform Hausdorff estimates

open access: yes, 2012
We prove that every closed set which is not sigma-finite with respect to the Hausdorff measure H^{N-1} carries singularities of continuous vector fields in the Euclidean space R^N for the divergence operator.

Hausdorff measure functions [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1973
In many contributions to the theory of Hausdorff measures, it has been the practice to place certain restrictions on the measure functions used. These restrictions usually ensure both the monotonicity and the continuity of the functions. The purpose of this work is to find conditions under which the restrictions of monotonicity and continuity may be ...

Borel measures and Hausdorff distance [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1988
In this article we study the restriction of Borel measures defined on a metric space X X to the nonempty closed subsets CL ⁡ ( X ) \operatorname {CL} (X) of X X , topologized by Hausdorff distance. We show that a σ \sigma -finite Radon measure is a

BMPCQA: Bioinspired Metaverse Point Cloud Quality Assessment Based on Large Multimodal Models

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study presents a bioinspired metaverse point cloud quality assessment metric, which simulates the human visual evaluation process to perform the point cloud quality assessment task. It first extracts rendering projection video features, normal image features, and point cloud patch features, which are then fed into a large multimodal model to ...

Construction of Regular Non-Atomic Strictly-Positive Measures in Second-Countable Non-Atomic Locally Compact Hausdorff Spaces

open access: yesAnnales Mathematicae Silesianae, 2022
This paper presents a constructive proof of the existence of a regular non-atomic strictly-positive measure on any second-countable non-atomic locally compact Hausdorff space.

Dimensions of random affine code tree fractals

open access: yes, 2012
We calculate the almost sure Hausdorff dimension for a general class of random affine planar code tree fractals. The set of probability measures describing the randomness includes natural measures in random $V$-variable and homogeneous Markov ...

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...
