Clinicopathological characteristics of patients with inoperable non‐small cell lung cancer harboring circulating NRF2 pathway mutations

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, Volume 269, Issue 2, Page 164-181, June 2026.
Abstract Lung cancer is the leading cause of global cancer‐related morbidity and mortality, with tobacco smoking as its strongest risk factor. Nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related factor 2 (NRF2) is a redox‐regulated transcription factor frequently dysregulated in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), leading to aggressive disease and resistance to therapy.

Machine Learning for Local Detection of Separators in Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Fields

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract Magnetic reconnection is a major plasma phenomenon occurring in various key environments ranging from the Sun and near‐Earth space to astrophysical plasmas. While magnetic reconnection is relatively well‐understood under two‐dimensional (2D) settings, it remains challenging to characterize in three‐dimensional (3D) magnetic fields.

Bowen Lemma in the Countable Symbolic Space

open access: yesEntropy, 2017
We consider the sets of quasi-regular points in the countable symbolic space. We measure the sizes of the sets by Billingsley-Hausdorff dimension defined by Gibbs measures.

An extended definition of Anosov representation for relatively hyperbolic groups

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract We define a new family of discrete representations of relatively hyperbolic groups which unifies many existing definitions and examples of geometrically finite behavior in higher rank. The definition includes the relative Anosov representations defined by Kapovich–Leeb and Zhu, and Zhu–Zimmer, as well as holonomy representations of various ...

Distance and Similarity Measures for T-Spherical Fuzzy Sets Based on Hausdorff Distance With Applications in Pattern Recognition and Medical Diagnosis

open access: yesIEEE Access
In this paper, we introduce a novel approach for computing the Hausdorff distance on T-spherical fuzzy sets (TSFSs) and subsequently formulate some powerful similarity measures (SMs) for these sets.

Generalized quasi-Banach sequence spaces and measures of noncompactness

open access: yesAnais da Academia Brasileira de Ciências, 2013
Given 0 < s ≤ 1 and ψ an s-convex function, s – ψ -sequence spaces are introduced. Several quasi-Banach sequence spaces are thus characterized as a particular case of s – ψ -spaces.

Hausdorff Dimension of Caloric Measure

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Mathematics
abstract: We examine caloric measures $\omega$ on general domains in $\RR^{n+1}=\RR^n\times\RR$ (space $\times$ time) from the perspective of geometric measure theory. On one hand, we give a direct proof of a consequence of a theorem of Taylor and Watson (1985) that the lower parabolic Hausdorff dimension of $\omega$ is at least $n$ and $\omega\ll ...

SpineMAE: A bone‐window self‐supervised and structure‐aware framework for 3D cervical vertebra segmentation and fracture classification

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 27, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Introduction Accurate segmentation and classification of cervical spine fractures are essential for timely diagnosis and clinical decision‐making in trauma care. Existing deep learning approaches often require extensive manual annotations and struggle to maintain anatomical consistency across vertebral levels, limiting their reliability and ...

The Hausdorff dimension and exact Hausdorff measure of random recursive sets with overlapping

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
We weaken the open set condition and define a finite intersection property in the construction of the random recursive sets. We prove that this larger class of random sets are fractals in the sense of Taylor, and give conditions when these sets have ...
