This article introduces EndoARSS, a novel multitask learning framework that combines surgical activity recognition and semantic segmentation for endoscopic surgery. Utilizing the foundation model with novel modules like task efficient shared low‐rank adapters and spatially aware multiscale attention, EndoARSS can effectively tackle challenges in ...

On the category of profinite spaces as a reflective subcategory
In this paper by using the ring of real-valued continuous functions $C(X)$, we prove a theorem in profinite spaces which states that for a compact Hausdorff space $X$, the set of its connected components $X/_{\sim}$ endowed with the quotient topology is ...

Singularities of the divergence of continuous vector fields and uniform Hausdorff estimates
We prove that every closed set which is not sigma-finite with respect to the Hausdorff measure H^{N-1} carries singularities of continuous vector fields in the Euclidean space R^N for the divergence operator.

Thioxanthone is an efficient visible‐light photosensitizer and facilitates reactions that are not known from natural enzymes. It is now possible to incorporate thioxanthone as a noncanonical amino acid (thioX) into proteins by an engineered amino acyl tRNA synthetase.

ABSTRACT Background Evaluating the minimum distance (dTICA) between the internal carotid artery (ICA) and tonsillar tumors (TT) on imaging is essential for preoperative planning; we propose a tool to automatically extract dTICA. Methods CT scans of 96 patients with TT were selected from the cancer imaging archive.

Spaces whose Pseudocompact Subspaces are Closed Subsets
Every first countable pseudocompact Tychonoff space X has the property that every pseudocompact subspace of X is a closed subset of X (denoted herein by “FCC”).

Bright‐field images of unstained smears. (1) Sparse erythrocytes allow straightforward intensity‐ or phase‐based segmentation. (2) Overlapping cells blur boundaries, causing over‐ or under‐segmentation and lowering rule‐based accuracy, thus motivating overlap‐aware algorithms for reliable downstream feature extraction and classification. ABSTRACT Blood

Carleson Measure and Tent Spaces on the Siegel Upper Half Space
The Hausdorff capacity on the Heisenberg group is introduced. The Choquet integrals with respect to the Hausdorff capacity on the Heisenberg group are defined. Then the fractional Carleson measures on the Siegel upper half space are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to validate and provide an open‐source segmentation algorithm of paranasal sinus CT scans for the otolaryngology research community. This can be used for further AI‐based analysis and radiomic analysis in future research. ABSTRACT Objective Artificial Intelligence (AI) research needs to be clinician led; however, expertise

The graphical abstract highlights our research on Sobolev Hilfer fractional Volterra‐Fredholm integro‐differential (SHFVFI) control problems for 1<ϱ<2$$ 1<\varrho <2 $$. We begin with the Hilfer fractional derivative (HFD) of order (1,2) in Sobolev type, which leads to Volterra‐Fredholm integro‐differential equations.
