Cretaceous Research, 1997
Abstract This paper focuses on the qualitative dinoflagellate cyst distribution in the Hauterivian-Barremian rocks of the western Mediterranean. Results are presented of research on the ammonite controlled pelagic Rio Argos succession near Caravaca (southeast Spain) which are integrated with information on calibrated sections in southeast France and ...

Berriasian to lower Hauterivian palynostratigraphy, U.K. onshore and Outer Moray Firth
Micropaleontology, 2018Detailed palynofloral analysis of Lower Cretaceous sections at Speeton (northeast England) and in the UKCS Outer Moray Firth has involved 31 outcrop samples and over 1100 well samples fromGolden Eagle Field (UKCSblocks 14/26a and 20/01), including extensive conventional core.Very close sampling, particularly within theValanginian, has allowed some ...

Upper Hauterivian with Clypeina ?solkani
2007The fossil assemblage in this locality contain numerous dasyclads Clypeina ?solkani CONRAD & RADOIČIĆ. Sedimentological characteristics and occasional accumulation of fossil material indicate that sedimentation took place in the lagoonal– shallow subtidal– intertidal environments. The age is Upper Hauterivian.

CYCLOSTRATIGRAPHY IN THE HAUTERIVIAN-BARREMIANFRIELINGEN CORE (LOWER SAXONY BASIN, GERMANY)
2017Astrochronology has proven to be a powerful method to constrain the duration of geological periods. However, in some geological periods, cyclostratigraphic studies give diverging results. For instance, theduration of the Hauterivian Stage was estimated as 3.5 myr in central Italy, and 5.9± 0.4 myr in South-EasternFrance and South-Eastern Spain.
