Alimentary Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.In ANA‐positive patients with suspected autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), liver biopsy rarely altered therapeutic management when alanine aminotransferase (ALT) was below 101 U/L and cirrhosis was absent.
