Matrix Rigidity Mechanoprimes Microglia for Inflammation Through Cytoskeletal‐to‐Nuclear Signaling and 3D Spatio‐Epigenomic Remodeling

Pathological tissue rigidity mechanoprimes microglia by enhancing actin cytoskeleton–nucleus coupling and chromatin opening at rigidity‐responsive cis‐regulatory elements (mechanoCREs). Subsequent NF‐κB/p65 signaling converges on this permissive regulatory state to amplify inflammatory gene expression and microglial activation.

Dual repression by IPA1 fine‐tunes OsbZIP79‐mediated salt tolerance in rice: direct transcriptional inhibition under normal conditions and salt‐induced degradation under stress. This dual mechanism activates OsbZIP79 to regulate Na+/K+ homeostasis and redox balance via downstream genes, enabling optimal salt stress response.

Multi‐Layer Transcriptomic Comparison Across Human, Pig, and Mouse Informs Tissue‐ and Trait‐Specific Animal Model Selection

We integrated RNA‐seq data from humans, pigs, and mice across 15 matched tissues based on 14 910 one‐to‐one orthologous genes. Cross‐species similarity was systematically evaluated across multiple regulatory layers, including global co‐expression conservation, co‐expression networks, tissue‐specific programs, and 3D genome architecture.
