Lead‐free halide perovskites emit broadband visible photoluminescence originating from self‐trapped excitonic states. Introduction of “alien” metals via doping or alloying into perovskite matrices often results in a dramatic enhancement of both light absorbance and emission.

Astronomy's relationship with the lands and communities of Maunakea [PDF]
Astronomy is at a turning point in its history and in its relations with the Indigenous peoples who are the generational stewards of land where several of our main observatories are located. The controversy regarding the further development of astronomy facilities on Maunakea is probably the most significant and publicized conflict about the use of ...

The genome of Megachile rotundata, an extensively managed solitary pollination bee species, has been sequenced, covering 280.68 Mb and predicting 10 701 genes. The study reveals significant expansions of the Toll gene family and their abundant expression in diapause prepupae, highlighting enhanced immune responses during diapause. This genome serves as

An ionic liquid/ether composite high‐entropy electrolyte with a unique Li+ coordination structure that leads to an upgraded solid‐electrolyte interphase and improved Li+ desolvation kinetics is developed. It exhibits high thermal stability, negligible corrosivity, and a large potential window, and is highly compatible with graphite, SiOx, and high ...

Constructing High‐Performance Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells Using Chiral Organic Molecules
This study presents a strategy for passivating defects at perovskite interfaces using chiral molecules. A comparison between the chiral R‐, S‐, and rac‐MBACl molecules reveals that S‐MBACl exhibits the strongest chelating ability and defect passivation effect on the perovskite surface. Finally, PSCs based on S‐MBACl modification achieve a PCE of 24.07%.
