Historic Building Information Modelling (HBIM)

open access: yesProceedings of the International Conference of Contemporary Affairs in Architecture and Urbanism-ICCAUA, 2021
Cultural heritage conservation and restoration work is a complex process that includes documentation, data collection, interpretation and production. By integrating the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology into this process, the concept of ...

Scan-to-HBIM Reliability

open access: yesDrones, 2023
The modeling of the historical architecture can be characterized by different levels of geometric development, more or less advanced, which correspond to different values of deviation between the real object and its three-dimensional representation.

HBIM IN A SEMANTIC 3D GIS DATABASE [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2019
Abstract. This work describes the different attempts and the consequent results derived from the integration of an HBIM model into an already structured spatial database (DB) and its 3D visualisation in a GIS project. This study is connected to the European ResCult (Increasing Resilience of Cultural Heritage) project where a DB for multiscale analyses ...

Controlling the Composition and Position of Metal–Organic Frameworks via Reactive Inkjet Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 10, Issue 12, April 24, 2023., 2023
Reactive inkjet printing (RIJ) is demonstrated as a new approach to the patterning of surfaces with metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs). Here, the benefits of the RIJ approach to print a variety different MOFs, optimize their stoichiometry, and create gradients where the composition of the printed MOFs gradually varies between one isoreticular structure ...

HERITAGE DECAY VISIBLE IN HBIM MODELS

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2023
Abstract. The research purpose aims to develop and analyse a workflow centred around decay representation within a selected BIM modelling environment. It involves conducting a comparative analysis based on accuracy criteria, process complexity, estimation of processing time, and the advantages and disadvantages of different methodologies explored.

Proton Conduction at High Temperature in High‐Symmetry Hydrogen‐Bonded Molecular Crystals of RuIII Complexes with Six Imidazole‐Imidazolate Ligands

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 28, Issue 47, August 22, 2022., 2022
A new H‐bonded crystal of [RuIII(Him)3(Im)3](1) with six HIm (imidazole) was prepared so as to obtain a high‐temperature proton conductor. The crystal is constructed through N−H⋅⋅⋅N−H‐bonds between the inter‐RuIII complexes and has a rare Icy‐c* cubic net without crystal anisotropy.

Energy related ion transports in coordination polymers

open access: yesNano Select, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 261-279, February 2022., 2022
An Overview of Energy Related Ion Transports in Coordination Polymers: Coordination polymers (CPs) have shown sorts of advantageous features, which make them to be an excellent platform for energy related ion transports. This review summarized the significant advances of ion conductive CPs and discussed their constructing strategies, structure‐function

New 3D Supramolecular Framework: Photocatalytic Property and Therapeutic Activity on Orbital Wall Fracture

open access: yesInternational Journal of Polymer Science, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Coordination compounds have undergone booming development in the past 20 years for their applications as multifunctional materials in the field of catalysis and biomedicine. To create compounds with both catalytic and bioactive properties, we selected Cu(II) ion and benzimidazole (Hbim) ligand as the building blocks to fabricate a new cluster‐based Cu ...

DEVELOPMENT OF A VIRTUAL ITINERARY WITH HBIM AND GIS

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2023
Abstract. This study explores the potential of Heritage Building Information Modeling (HBIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for assessing tourist visitation and managing public use of heritage buildings. By integrating these tools, the research aims to improve preventive maintenance and conservation management in culturally significant ...
