Head-to-head (H–H) linkages were observed in addition and condensation polymers. Pure H–H polymers of polyolefins, poly(vinyl halides), and polyacrylates were prepared, and the fundamental polymer properties were determined. They included mechanical, spectral, thermal, and degradation behaviors.
