Questionnaires filled out by patients are used to provide information on health-related quality of life (HRQoL). This information typically relates to how the patient feels, for example pain, fatigue, nausea, or depression, and to functioning, such as the ability to climb stairs. HRQoL questionnaires are used in clinical trials on chronic diseases.
