Scaling Up Purcell‐Enhanced Self‐Assembled Nanoplasmonic Perovskite Scintillators into the Bulk Regime

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a scalable approach to enhancing bulk scintillators using nanoplasmonics. By integrating 100‐nm silver nanoparticles with perovskite scintillator nanocrystals in a polymer matrix, significant improvements in light yield and decay rates via the Purcell effect are achieved.

High‐throughput Photocatalytic Reactor With in Operando Characterisation for Fast Screening of Materials for the Photodegradation of Water‐Borne Pollutants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A novel fast‐screening photocatalytic reactor system (FaS‐PhoReS) using terrestrial sunlight is able to measure the in operando photodegradation of 32 samples at once, and does not suffer from the common problem of sample evaporation. Four photostable 12 dyes are used to investigate the photocatalytic performance of TiO2 and ZnO samples in both film ...

Developing a Robust Computable Phenotype Definition Workflow to Describe Health and Disease in Observational Health Research [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Health informatics can inform decisions that practitioners, patients, policymakers, and researchers need to make about health and disease. Health informatics is built upon patient health data leading to the need to codify patient health information. Such standardization is required to compute population statistics (such as prevalence, incidence, etc ...
