Lesbians’ mental health concerns
Health Care for Women International, 1994The literature on lesbians' mental health issues offers mostly research on selected issues and few comprehensive studies. Using a pretested qualitative and quantitative instrument, I elicited 503 lesbian women's responses to questions on issues known to affect lesbians' mental health.

Journal of Pediatric Nursing, 1995An anonymous self-report questionnaire designed to assess adolescent girls' health concerns was administered to 1,416 female students in grades 7-10 from 38 schools in northwestern Ontario. Results indicated that the future and items of appearance were of the highest level of concern in the sample.
