Exploring Older Adults' Health Information Seeking Behaviors
Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, 2012To explore older adults' (55-70 years) health information-seeking behaviors.Using a qualitative methodology, based on grounded theory, data were collected using in-depth interviews. Participants were community-living, older adults in Toronto, Canada who independently seek nutrition and health information.

Online Health Information Seeking Behavior in Hong Kong: An Exploratory Study
Journal of Medical Systems, 2008This is an exploratory study that described the prevalence and patterns of internet health information seeking in Hong Kong. A convenient sample of 443 individuals completed the questionnaires. Only 44% (N = 195) of the respondents were identified as health surfers. Health surfers tended to be younger females (age group 20-29) and have higher education.
