Abnormally proximal aortic origin of the brachiocephalic artery: Surgical implications
Abnormal proximal aortic origin of the brachiocephalic artery is a very rare condition. It can occur in isolation or associated with complex congenital heart disease affecting the right ventricular outflow tract. Its recognition carries relevant surgical

Experience of Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting on the Beating Heart with a Right Heart Bypass System.

Simultaneous Hydatid Cysts of Both the Right Atrium and Right Ventricle
Hydatid disease in both chambers of the heart is very rare. Mobile right atrial and right ventricular hydatid cysts were diagnosed incidentally in the etiologic work up for a transient ischemic attack in a 77-year-old man with a history of a hepatic ...

Thirty-two years after total right heart bypass [PDF]
In 1971, 1,2 the future of patients with chronically elevated venous pressures was unknown, but the intriguing physiology of total right heart bypass was demonstrated to be compatible with life. In 1975, in Toronto, I presented “Recent Surgical Approach to Tricuspid Atresia,” the international experience of 35 patients with 10 hospital and 2 late ...

Surgical treatment of giant right ventricular fibroma for a newborn: A case report
This report describes the surgical treatment of giant right ventricular fibroma in a newborn. Cardiac uhrasonography and CT showed a large mass in the right ventricle wall, which narrowed the right ventricular inflow tract.

We describe detailed protocols for the purification and preparation of Marchantia polymorpha Auxin Response Factor 2 (MpARF2). This protein is fused to an MBP solubility tag and an mNG fluorescent tag and is purified from Escherichia coli. The presented procedures make it possible to study MpARF2 assemblies, which could arise from phase separation ...

Chronobiology of Cancer: How Aging Fuels Oncogenesis at the Molecular Level
This graphical abstract illustrates the key biological pathways linking aging with cancer development and progression. In the upper left, cumulative exposure to ultraviolet radiation, toxins, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) causes DNA damage and genomic instability, whereas age‐related decline in repair mechanisms, such as ATM/ATR, BER, and NER ...
