Background Hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus (hsPDA) leads to left‐sided chamber dilatation and mitral valve (MV) annular stretching, potentially resulting in mitral regurgitation (MR). While transcatheter PDA closure often improves MR, persistent MR may be associated with adverse outcomes.
