Aspiration of superabsorbent polymer beads in a 2‐year‐old Boston terrier
Veterinary Record Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, February 2026.Abstract This case report describes the first documented instance of a dog aspirating a superabsorbent polymer bead, commonly marketed as Orbeez, and its successful removal. Superabsorbent polymers are widely used in children's toys and decorative products, and they possess the ability to expand significantly in water.
