Autonomous Velocity Encoding (VENC) Selection Improves Precision of Quantitative Flow Measurement
ABSTRACT Background The optimal velocity encoding limit (VENC) in phase contrast MRI is subject‐specific because it depends on peak flow rate and the presence of flow jets. Currently, VENC is set manually with limited prior knowledge of the peak velocity. Setting the correct VENC might improve measurement precision or shorten scan times.

Therapeutic‐dose verapamil‐induced cardiogenic shock in an older patient: a case report
Abstract Background Calcium channel blocker (CCB) toxicity most commonly follows deliberate overdose. However, severe toxicity at therapeutic doses may occur in susceptible individuals. Severe CCB toxicity often presents with clinical features of bradycardia, hypotension, hyperglycaemia, and lactic acidosis.

Point‐of‐Care Ultrasound M‐Mode Analysis Using M.mode.ify
Objectives M‐mode ultrasound provides high temporal resolution imaging by rendering a single scan line over time, enabling precise measurement of rapidly moving structures. Traditional M‐mode is limited to real‐time acquisition and cannot be applied retrospectively. M.mode.ify is a novel software tool that generates M‐mode‐like tracings from video data,

Deep Learning‐Based Dynamic Segmentation of the Left Atrium in 4D Flow MRI
ABSTRACT Purpose To design a deep learning pipeline for automated, time‐resolved segmentation of the left atrium (LA) from 4D flow MRI data. Methods We studied 100 individuals including 65 patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and 35 healthy subjects (HS) resulting in 2530 4D flow MRI time‐volumes acquired in different centers and scanners.

Congenital Intraoral Synechiae: A Scoping Review of Airway, Feeding, and Surgical Management
Abstract Objective To map the existing literature on congenital intraoral synechiae and summarize reported anatomic patterns, clinical presentation, associated anomalies/syndromes, and outcomes to inform standardized diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. Data Sources PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, Web of Science, and Google Scholar were searched from January

Myocardial Perfusion Defects in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Mutation Carriers
Background Impaired myocardial blood flow (MBF) in the absence of epicardial coronary disease is a feature of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Although most evident in hypertrophied or scarred segments, reduced MBF can occur in apparently normal segments.

Atrioventricular canal defects constitute about 3%–5% of total congenital heart defects, with a prevalence of 0.3–0.4/1000 live births. Mitral valve defects are associated with atrioventricular canal (septal) defects in most cases.
