NEW MECHANISMS FOR NANOINDENTATION DATA PROCESSING USING ATOMIC FORCE MICROSCOPY METHOD
Elastic modulus accuracy using atomic force microscopy depends significantly on processing quality of the experimental data obtained during nanoindentation. Multiply repeated calibration can lead to conservative value of the calibration factor.

Using fluorescence fluctuation spectroscopy to quantify molecular dynamics within cells
Microscopy techniques like fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) and number and brightness analysis (N&B) allow to quantify concentrations, diffusion rates, and oligomerization of fluorescently labeled molecules in the living cell. In this protocol the principles of how to set up these types of experiments are described including calibration ...

Characterization of the key membrane protein cytochrome Cyc2 from Ghiorsea bivora
This study reports the first detailed biochemical analysis of Cyc2TAG1_1, a cytochrome protein involved in microbial iron oxidation. We produced and purified this enzyme in E. coli, then measured its iron‐oxidizing efficiency, and characterized its electrical and structural properties.

ABSTRACT Objective Neurochemical levels measured by brain MR spectroscopy (MRS) have been proposed as endpoints for clinical trials in early‐stage spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA) trials. We tested their trial‐readiness by quantifying neurochemicals in three affected brain regions in early‐stage cohorts of SCA2 and SCA3, examining their reproducibility in ...
