The present paper presents a study of the optimal bidimensional entry into Mars atmosphere of a lifting vehicle with minimum heating. The variational problem is formulated as an izoperimetric problem [ I ] , the imposed horizontal distance having a major signification in determination of the landing point which it avoids dust storm zones.
