Heat pipe heat exchanger optimization
Heat Recovery Systems and CHP, 1991Abstract An equation to determine the optimum position of the partition separating a heat pipe into evaporator and condenser regions in a heat pipe heat exchanger was formulated by minimizing the total thermal resistance of the heat path. The optimal position of the partition plate for various operating conditions was found and analysed.
