Enhanced Strength and Corrosion Resistance of Ti‐13Nb‐12Ta‐10Zr‐4Sn Alloy by Aging Treatment
This work systematically investigates the effect of aging treatment on mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of vacuum arc‐melted Ti‐13Nb‐12Ta‐10Zr‐4Sn alloy. Owing to the increased α″ martensite, strength and corrosion resistance were significantly enhanced by aging treatment.

Heat Transfer Performance of EVAPORON-3 Developed for an Enlarged Heat Transfer Surface of Divertor
In this study, we newly propose two types of water-cooled divertor devices called EVAPORON-3 using high thermal conductivity porous media that could be applicable especially to an enlarged heat transfer surface such as the divertor plate. Each device has a liquid-vapor separating plate (LVS plate) on the top surface of the porous medium.

A new enhancing technique was developed for natural convection adjacent to a vertical, heated plate. In order to enhance the heat transfer, V-shaped plates of which the edges faced upstream, were attached to a vertical plate in a staggered layout. These plates work not only as an extended surface but also as a heat transfer promoter.

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Nondestructive Testing of Welded Composite Metal Foams
X‐ray computed tomography (CT) is used to evaluate welded steel–steel composite metal foam (CMF) joints of two density classes. It reports variation in postweld spatial void distribution and correlates it to weld‐induced changes, mechanical performance, and failure within welded CMF panels.
