Flame retardant polymer composites are now being evaluated with more than pass or fail flammability tests. Heat release, smoke, toxicity, and system‐level behavior are receiving more attention, and multi‐scale methods are being used to describe fire hazard under more realistic conditions.

This study investigates the sealing performance of foamed concrete in gas drainage boreholes. By comparing leakage pathways (a, c) with sealed systems (b, d), the research demonstrates how foamed concrete effectively fills mining‐induced fractures and resists deformation.
