A Review on Covalent Organic Frameworks as Artificial Interface Layers for Li and Zn Metal Anodes in Rechargeable Batteries. [PDF]
This article discusses the stability and types of COFs, and summarizes some novel COF synthesis methods. Additionally, the recent progress of COFs as a protective film for rechargeable Li and Zn anodes is reviewed. Finally, some optimization strategies for COFs used in Li and Zn anodes are suggested, and the main challenges faced in these areas are ...

ABSTRACT The ecology of forests, their losses, and terrestrial wood decomposition dynamics have been intensively studied and reviewed. In the aquatic realm, reviews have concentrated on large wood (LW) in rivers and the transition from freshwater to marine environments in the Pacific Northwest of North America. However, a comprehensive global synthesis

Active Versus Passive eDNA Sampling Across Depths at a Tropical Fish‐Aggregating Device (FAD)
Sampling at a fish aggregating device over three consecutive days using active and passive samplers detected a total of 39 fish operational taxonomic units (OTUs). Of these, 25 OTUs were shared between the two sampling approaches. The composition of detected OTUs varied among days and between sampler types.

Abstract Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) have played a major role in the depletion of stratospheric ozone. Understanding historical trends in emissions and atmospheric concentrations is crucial for quantifying their impact. The first measurements of atmospheric CFCs were performed in‐situ by Lovelock in 1970.

The introduction of rare‐earth element Yb into tin‐rich SnSe2 significantly enhances phonon scattering mechanisms, drastically reducing the lattice thermal conductivity and then yielding a peak ZTmax of ~0.53 at 773 K. ABSTRACT SnSe2 is a promising thermoelectric (TE) material with intrinsic n‐type characteristics and a high theoretical ZT value of 2 ...

Characterization and Antibody Preparation of the Gene Products of Grouper Iridovirus ORF5L
ABSTRACT Grouper iridovirus (GIV) is a large DNA virus belonging to the family Iridoviridae and genus Ranavirus. It consists of 139,793 base pairs (bp) and 120 open reading frames (ORFs). GIV is a key pathogen of farmed fish worldwide. The functional roles of viral genes must be determined for the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of viral ...

A review of hot sedimentary aquifer geothermal resources in Australia
ABSTRACT Numerous currently operating, past and potential future geothermal energy projects in Australia depend on heat from hot sedimentary aquifer (HSA) sources. The relevant aquifers cover a range of geographical and geological settings. Currently operating geothermal energy projects in Australia (excluding ground source heat pumps) predominantly ...
