Recent changes in heatwave characteristics over Korea
Global warming and abnormal climate change have resulted in an increase in the frequency of severe heatwave events. Recently, a series of extreme heatwave events have occurred in South Korea, and the damage from these events has also been increasing ...

Is quinoa‐farming sustainable in marginal environments? Social, economical and environmental aspects
Abstract Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) is an Andean grain crop introduced as a novel crop to many parts of the world in recent years. Recognized for nutritious seeds and high abiotic stress tolerance, it has been promoted as an element of climate‐resilient agriculture, particularly in marginal environments.

We determined that more isolated and possibly older nest boxes were selected by little penguins for breeding at Pōhatu/Flea Bay, New Zealand. However, breeding success was influenced by lay date in comparison to nest box characteristics. These findings inform immediate conservation recommendations regarding nest box design and placement.

Implementing potential climate‐smart practices through diverse partnerships
Climate change is one of the greatest threats to society, negatively impacting agriculture and crop yields. Globally, agriculture is also one of the largest greenhouse gas (GHG) emitting sectors. Climate‐smart practices that are developed through diverse partnerships with scientists and practitioners are needed to decrease GHG emissions. We implemented
