Green's Function Method for Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesمجلة المختار للعلوم, 2013
The analytical solution of non homogeneous boundary value problem in the form: Lyx=fx          axb                              B1ya=0                               B2yb=0 are obtained by using Green's function method.

Robust Multi-Criteria Traffic Network Equilibrium Problems with Path Capacity Constraints

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
With the progress of society and the diversification of transportation modes, people are faced with more and more complicated travel choices, and thus, multi-criteria route choosing optimization problems have drawn increased attention in recent years.

Analysis of the Chen’s and Pham’s Software Reliability Models

open access: yesCybernetics and Information Technologies, 2018
In this paper we study the Hausdorff approximation of the shifted Heaviside step function ht0(t) by sigmoidal functions based on the Chen’s and Pham’s cumulative distribution functions and find an expression for the error of the best approximation.

A Local Integral Equation Formulation Based on Moving Kriging Interpolation for Solving Coupled Nonlinear Reaction-Diffusion Equations

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2014
The meshless local Pretrov-Galerkin method (MLPG) with the test function in view of the Heaviside step function is introduced to solve the system of coupled nonlinear reaction-diffusion equations in two-dimensional spaces subjected to Dirichlet and ...

TLM with Heaviside step functions instead of impulses

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1998
The transmission line matrix (TLM) technique is shown to work equally well with Heaviside step functions rather than traditional Dirac impulse functions, without significant algorithmic changes, giving an arguably more intuitive and physically more reasonable model.

STUDY OF HALL AND SORET EFFECT ON MHD FLOW WITH A RAMPED PLATE TEMPERATURE OF AN EXPONENTIALLY ACCELERATED VERTICAL PLATE EMBEDDED IN A POROUS MEDIUM

open access: yesJournal of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, 2018
The present literature deals with the study of MHD flow of an incompressible viscous electrically conducting fluid along an exponentially accelerated infinite vertical plate in a rotating system. The effects of thermodiffusion, thermal radiation and Hall

Exact distributions of the maximum and range of random diffusivity processes

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2021
We study the extremal properties of a stochastic process x _t defined by the Langevin equation ${\dot {x}}_{t}=\sqrt{2{D}_{t}}\enspace {\xi }_{t}$ , in which ξ _t is a Gaussian white noise with zero mean and D _t is a stochastic ‘diffusivity’, defined as

Solving the Nonstationary Problem of the Disperse Phase Concentration during the Pneumoclassification Process of Mechanical Mixtures

open access: yesЖурнал інженерних наук, 2019
The article dials with studying of the gas-dispersed systems classification process in gravitation pneumoclassifiers of prismatic shape. The aim of the research is to determine operating parameters of the investigated process. Recent research is based on

Entanglement harvesting for different gravitational wave burst profiles with and without memory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
In the present article, we study how different gravitational wave (GW) burst profiles in linearized gravity, with and without the asymptotic memory, may influence the harvesting between two static Unruh-DeWitt detectors.

Theoretical understanding of gradients of spike functions as boolean functions

open access: yesComplex & Intelligent Systems
Applying an error-backpropagation algorithm to spiking neural networks frequently needs to employ fictive derivatives of spike functions (popularly referred to as surrogate gradients) because the spike function is considered non-differentiable.
