On Topp-Leone-G Power Series: Saturation in the Hausdorff Sense and Applications
This paper discusses the Topp-Leone-G power series class of distributions. The greatest attention is paid to the investigation of intrinsic characteristic “saturation” to the horizontal asymptote in the Hausdorff sense.

Some Notes for Two Generalized Trigonometric Families of Distributions
The paper deals with two general families of cumulative distribution functions based on arctangent function. We provide analysis of the error of the best one-sided Hausdorff approximation for some special cases of these families.

Robust Multi-Criteria Traffic Network Equilibrium Problems with Path Capacity Constraints
With the progress of society and the diversification of transportation modes, people are faced with more and more complicated travel choices, and thus, multi-criteria route choosing optimization problems have drawn increased attention in recent years.

Analysis of the Chen’s and Pham’s Software Reliability Models
In this paper we study the Hausdorff approximation of the shifted Heaviside step function ht0(t) by sigmoidal functions based on the Chen’s and Pham’s cumulative distribution functions and find an expression for the error of the best approximation.

Exact distributions of the maximum and range of random diffusivity processes
We study the extremal properties of a stochastic process x _t defined by the Langevin equation ${\dot {x}}_{t}=\sqrt{2{D}_{t}}\enspace {\xi }_{t}$ , in which ξ _t is a Gaussian white noise with zero mean and D _t is a stochastic ‘diffusivity’, defined as

The temperature dependence of fatigue behavior in nickel‐based superalloys is investigated through high‐resolution measurements of plastic localization. While increasing temperature reduces localization and enhances fatigue performance in René 88DT, Inconel 718 exhibits a sharp degradation at intermediate temperature due to intensified slip ...

On Determination Method for Resolution of Secondary Electron Images in Scanning Electron Microscopy
An idealized SEM, termed Rayleigh's microscope, is constructed by Monte Carlo simulation to represent imaging conditions that just satisfy the Rayleigh criterion. Based on this physically defined model, sharpness–resolution conversion curves are established and combined with the Rose criterion, enabling automated resolution evaluation from practical ...
