Lithium Difluorophosphate and Fluoroethylene Carbonate Containing Electrolytes: How Instrumental Analytics Helps to Understand Synergistic Effects on Performance Improvement in High‐Voltage Li Battery Applications

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
In this study, electrolyte investigations in cells for high‐voltage applications are carried out. The electrolytes contain varying contents of FEC and EC, including the replacement of EC by FEC and the addition of the electrolyte additive DFP. ABSTRACT Sequential improvement of lithium‐ion batteries is an ongoing process that addresses operational ...

Oxidative Damage, Energy Imbalance, and Behavioral Disruptions in Girardia tigrina Exposed to Treated Sewage Effluents

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study assessed the ecotoxicological effects of treated sewage on the freshwater planarian Girardia tigrina, integrating biochemical, energetic, and behavioral biomarkers. Planarians were exposed for 48 h to different concentrations of treated sewage (12.5%, 25%, 50%, and 100%) and compared to controls using commercial water and water from

Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.

Plasma Proteomics Analysis Identifying IGFBP2 as a Potential Diagnostic Biomarker for Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesWorld Journal of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Currently, there are no blood biomarkers available for the early diagnosis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC). The objective of this study was to search for potential plasma biomarkers for the diagnosis of LSCC. Methods Plasma samples were taken from patients with LSCC and healthy controls for proteomic analysis.

Research on the Audible Noise Spectrum Characteristics of Typical AC Bundled Conductors in High‐Altitude Areas at 4300 m

open access: yesHigh Voltage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The low pressure in high‐altitude areas exacerbates the issue of audible noise (AN) caused by intense corona discharge on the conductor surface. This problem is a critical factor in the structural design and conductor selection for extra‐high‐voltage and ultrahigh‐voltage (UHV) AC transmission lines.
