A Robust Deep Temporal Causal Discovery Platform for Single‐Cell Gene Regulatory Network Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
scTIGER2.0 is a deep‐learning framework that infers gene regulatory networks from single‐cell RNA sequencing data. By integrating correlation, pseudotime ordering, deep learning and bootstrap‐based significance testing, it reduces false positives and reveals directional gene interactions.

Classification of heavy-weight floor impact sounds in multi-dwelling houses using an equal-appearing interval scale

open access: yesBuilding and Environment, 2015
Abstract Classifications of heavy-weight floor impact sounds based on subjective responses were suggested by conducting two experiments. First, statements describing perceptual acoustic qualities related to floor impact sounds in residential buildings were collected and assessed with respect to the degree of annoyance levels. Equal-appearing interval

Integrating Reinforcement Learning With Explainable Artificial Intelligence for Real‐Time Clinical Decision Support in Dynamic Healthcare Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A hybrid Reinforcement Learning–Explainable AI framework integrates SHAP and LIME explanations directly into a Deep Q‐Network inference loop for real‐time ICU decision support. Trained on 18 142 mechanically ventilated stays from the eICU database, the system attains 93.0% decision accuracy, 20% fewer errors than RL alone, and a 91% clinician trust ...

Thermally Drawn Bioelectric Catheters: Enabling Proprioceptive Endovascular Navigation

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This work introduces a novel bioelectric navigation system eliminates the need for harmful fluoroscopy during endovascular surgeries. A bespoke 16‐electrode catheter is fabricated using rapid thermal drawing and laser micro‐machining. Paired with a real‐time tracking algorithm fusing vascular geometry detection and distance estimation, this technology ...

Small-size Specimen's Effectiveness That is Used to Mortar Layer of Slab (Heavy-weight Floor Impact Sound)

open access: yesTransactions of the Korean Society for Noise and Vibration Engineering, 2009
This study examined small-size specimen`s effectiveness that is used to evaluate floor impact sound performance. Floor impact sound level of small-size specimen is higher than full-size. This is due to excessive impact power of Bang machine. Impact hammer that has small impact power relatively can solve this problem.
