Kaon and antikaon optical potentials in isospin asymmetric hyperonic matter
The medium modifications of the energies of kaons and antikaons in isospin asymmetric hyperonic matter are investigated using a chiral SU(3) model. The isospin dependent medium effects, are important for asymmetric heavy ion collision experiments, as ...

Effect of Laser Deoxidation on Adhesive‐Bonded Aluminum in an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
This study investigates laser ablation of aluminum under oxygen‐free conditions. The goal is to produce oxide‐free substrates that enable improved adhesive bonding with epoxy. Optimized laser parameters (90% overlap, 300 µJ) combined with oxide‐free substrates result in the highest tensile strength of the adhesive bond.

EDX elemental map of the pre‐oxidized MgO–steel cermet anode cross section after electrolysis. The development of inert anodes for aluminum electrolysis remains challenging due to the high corrosivity of cryolite‐based melts at 950°C–1000°C. This study investigates the corrosion and process behavior of a carbon‐free MgO–steel cermet anode derived from ...

Turbulent thermalization process in high-energy heavy-ion collisions
We discuss the onset of the thermalization process in high-energy heavy-ion collisions from a weak coupling perspective, using classical-statistical real-time lattice simulations as a first principles tool to study the pre-equilibrium dynamics.

Deterministic Detection of Single Ion Implantation
Focused ion beam implantation with high detection efficiencies will enable the rapid and scalable fabrication of advanced spin‐based technologies such as qubits. This work presents the detection efficiencies of a wide range of ions implanted into solid‐state hosts, with efficiencies of >90% recorded for ion species and substrate combinations of ...

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...
