Pyrolysis of oil shale from the Whiterocks tar sand deposit in a rotary kiln [PDF]
The recovery of hydrocarbon values from the oil sands of Utah can be accomplished by any of several mining-surface recovery techniques. These processing strategies include aqueous separation, diluent-assisted aqueous separation and solvent extraction of ...

Removal of Heavy Silicone Oil [PDF]
Removal of heavy silicone oil takes about 3 minutes, due to its low viscosity of a little more than 1000 cSt. The cannula is a peripheral infusion trimmed to the appropriate length.

Exosomal miR‐146a‐5p is identified as a pivotal regulator in steroid‐induced osteonecrosis. Its reduction activates NF‐κB signaling, compromises mitophagy, and disrupts mitochondrial bioenergetics, resulting in autophagic disequilibrium. Engineered exosomes delivering miR‐146a‐5p reinstate mitochondrial function, augment oxidative phosphorylation and ...

Hydrodesulfurization of Heavy Oil
From the viewpoint of pollution control, desulfurization of heavy oil has become important problem to be solved urgently. In this country studies are being little carried out in this field, however, in foreign countries its industrialization is being taken into consideration. This paper, describes catalytic hydrodesulfurization of atmospheric/reduced ...

Light wavelength encodes distinct macrophage fates through mitochondrial and metabolic remodeling. Red 625 nm irradiation induces glycolysis, mitochondrial fission, and M1 polarization, whereas near‐infrared 850 nm irradiation promotes fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial fusion, and M2 polarization.

We report photostable, photoluminescent deep eutectic solvents (DESs) powered by in situ‐formed zero‐dimensional (0D) halometallates. Stabilized by microenvironment‐controlling hydrogen bond acceptor (HBA) and donor (HBD) networks, these DESs exhibit vibrant, metal ion‐tunable emission (PLQY = 60.2%).
