B s → Kℓν ℓ and B (s) → π(K)ℓ + ℓ − decays at large recoil and CKM matrix elements

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We provide hadronic input for the B-meson semileptonic transitions to a light pseudoscalar meson at large recoil. The B s → K form factor calculated from QCD light-cone sum rule is updated, to be used for a |V ub | determination from the B s → Kℓν width.

Inspiratory muscle training in the healthy adult: The relationship between load, perception, and oxygen consumption

open access: yesClinical Physiology and Functional Imaging, Volume 46, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Background Inspiratory muscle training (IMT) is used in a broad range of populations to improve the strength and endurance of the respiratory muscles, to improve both athletic performance and clinical outcomes. However, the optimal approach to IMT remains uncertain, and IMT is frequently declined in the clinical setting.

Heavy quark physics in the covariant quark model.

open access: yes, 2014
I give a short introduction to the covariant quark model and its applications to heavy quark physics. The special emphasis will be devoted to the semileptonic, rare and radiative decays of the $\Lambda_b$-baryon.

Master Integrals for the two-loop, non-planar QCD corrections to top-quark pair production in the quark-annihilation channel

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We present the analytic calculation of the Master Integrals for the twoloop, non-planar topologies that enter the calculation of the amplitude for top-quark pair hadroproduction in the quark-annihilation channel.

The Purely Leptonic and Semileptonic Decays of Ds∗ Meson

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
With the potential prospects of the Ds∗ at high‐luminosity heavy‐flavor experiments in the future, we investigated the CKM‐favored and tree‐dominated leptonic Ds∗⟶ℓν¯ℓ,ℓ=e,μ,τ and semileptonic Ds∗⟶Mℓ′ν¯ℓ′ M=ϕ,η′,K and ℓ′=e,μ weak decays in the standard model (SM).

Experimental Highlights: Heavy Quark Physics in Heavy-Ion Collisions at RHIC

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
The discovery at RHIC of large high-pT suppression and flow of electrons from heavy quarks flavors have altered our view of the hot and dense matter formed in central Au + Au collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV.

Complementary Probes of the Dimension‐6 Operator via Gravitational Waves and Multi‐Higgs Production

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We investigate the phenomenological consequences of a dimension‐6 operator H†H3/Λ2, Λ is the effective scale at which new physics takes over, which modifies the scalar potential of the standard model and can induce a strong first‐order electroweak phase transition (SFOEWPT). We estimate the lower limit on the effective scale Λ to be 515 GeV from the di‐

Extraction of Effective Parameters From Transverse Momentum Spectra of Heavy Quarkonia in Proton–Proton Collisions at the LHC

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The effective string tension (κ) in the Schwinger mechanism and the effective temperature (T) in Bose–Einstein statistics are extracted from the transverse momentum (pT) spectra of heavy quarkonia produced in proton‐proton (p + p) collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
