Heavy quark physics at HERA

Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1999
Abstract In this report we review the latest results on heavy quark physics reached at HERA by the H1 and ZEUS collaborations. We start from the open charm measurements performed both in photoproduction and in deep inelastic scattering regime following with bound charm physics.

Heavy quark physics in CMS

Il Nuovo Cimento C, 2016
The most recent results which concern the heavy quark hadrons done in the CMS experiment are reported. The searching area spans over the heavy quark spectroscopy, production cross sections, beauty meson decay properties, rare decays, and CP violation.

Topics in Heavy Quark Physics

1997
Heavy Quark Effective Theory (HQET) is reviewed and applied to extracting the fundamental parameters of the Standard Model from experimental data. The main focus is on precision measurements of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |Vcb|, and the charm and bottom quark masses mc and mb.

Aspects of Heavy Quark Physics

1998
We discuss the use of two QCD based effective field theories in determining parameters of the standard model. Heavy Quark Effective theory provides a framework for studying the weak decays of the B meson. We calculate the B → Xclv decay rate to second nonvanishing order in the HQET expansion and compare the theoretical prediction to experimental data ...

Heavy Quark Physics on Large Lattices

2005
We describe our recently initiated project for the non-perturbative study of heavy quark systems in quenched lattice QCD. Motivated by the desire to avoid additional approximations, we work on fine lattices which are large in terms of the number of lattice points.
