Low‐Profile, High‐Gain GRIN RF Lenses via Multi‐Material Vat Photopolymerization
We investigate the opportunity of leveraging multi‐material vat photopolymerization printing to manufacture intricate lenses exhibiting permittivity gradients that can increase signal gain in transmitted radiofrequency signals in the X‐ and Ku‐bands. Lenses produced with more distinct low‐loss materials (up to 5) can deliver an 18 dB signal gain with a

Effect of environmental conditions on heavy metal, binding forms
Heavy metals in surface water systems can be from natural or human sources. Sediments play auseful role in assessment of heavy metal contamination because suspended matter in thesediment preferentially adsorbs them.

Radiation‐induced hypothyroidism follows head and neck radiotherapy due to oxidative stress and inflammation. Electrospun polycaprolactone scaffolds containing adenosine have potential to modulate thyroid repair. Scaffolds enhance thyrocyte proliferation, antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase and catalase, reduce senescence and apoptosis markers ...

Probability forecasts of 30-day precipitation
Rainfall is a very important factor in the overall picture of water resources. The question "How much rain will we get this month?" has long been asked, but never answered with any degree of accuracy. The U.S.

Engineering of Glioblastoma‐Derived Biomimetic Vesicles and Their Structural and Molecular Features
ABSTRACT Biomimetic nanosystems and vesicles have arisen as a novel approach to design vesicular transport systems with diverse therapeutic potential. The ‘biomimetic’ strategy involves the integration of cell membrane components into lipid bilayers, conferring them with biological properties originating from the cell of origin. Until now, most studies

Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.
