Building a Hebrew Semantic Role Labeling Lexical Resource from Parallel Movie Subtitles [PDF]
We present a semantic role labeling resource for Hebrew built semi-automatically through annotation projection from English. This corpus is derived from the multilingual OpenSubtitles dataset and includes short informal sentences, for which reliable linguistic annotations have been computed.

Light‐Triggered CRISPR/Cas12a for Genomic Editing and Tumor Regression
A photo‐triggered CRISPR/Cas12a machinery for in vitro and in vivo gene editing is introduced. The system consists of a caged, inactive ortho‐nitrobenzyl phosphate ester photo‐responsive crRNA, which, upon light‐induced deprotection, yields the active CRISPR/Cas12a gene editing machinery (LAC12aGE).

In this article we examine how Qumran Hebrew can contribute to our knowledge of historical Hebrew linguistics. The premise of this paper is that Qumran Hebrew reflects a distinct stage in the development of Hebrew which sets it apart from Biblical Hebrew.

Restoring Hebrew Diacritics Without a Dictionary [PDF]
We demonstrate that it is feasible to diacritize Hebrew script without any human-curated resources other than plain diacritized text. We present NAKDIMON, a two-layer character level LSTM, that performs on par with much more complicated curation-dependent systems, across a diverse array of modern Hebrew sources.

Poverty, affluence and homeownership among working‐age immigrants in Israel
Abstract Affluence, homeownership and poverty are good measures of immigrants’ long‐term integration. High income and homeownership indicate successful integration and intentions to stay in the host country, whereas poverty signals economic vulnerability, typical of immigrants who arrive with few resources.
