Fractional Hedonic Games [PDF]
The work we present in this article initiated the formal study of fractional hedonic games (FHGs), coalition formation games in which the utility of a player is the average value he ascribes to the members of his coalition.

On Hedonic Games with Common Ranking Property
Hedonic games are a prominent model of coalition formation, in which each agent's utility only depends on the coalition she resides. The subclass of hedonic games that models the formation of general partnerships, where output is shared equally among affiliates, is referred to as hedonic games with common ranking property (HGCRP).

Proceedings of the twenty-fourth annual ACM symposium on Parallelism in algorithms and architectures, 2012
Clustering, the partitioning of objects with respect to a similarity measure, has been extensively studied as a global optimization problem. We investigate clustering from a game-theoretic approach, and consider the class of hedonic clustering games .

Popularity and Strict Popularity in Altruistic Hedonic Games and Minimum-Based Altruistic Hedonic Games [PDF]
We consider average-based and min-based altruistic hedonic games and study the problem of verifying popular and strictly popular coalition structures. While strict popularity verification has been shown to be coNP-complete in min-based altruistic hedonic games, this problem has been open for equal-treatment and altruistic-treatment average-based ...

International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2014
An important issue in multi-agent systems is the exploitation of synergies via coalition formation. We initiate the formal study of fractional hedonic games. In fractional hedonic games, the utility of a player in a coalition structure is the average value he ascribes to the members of his coalition.
