Soluble Fe‐RFB anolytes based on carboxylate (NTA, EDTA) and phosphonate (NTMPA, EDTMP) chelators are compared to elucidate the redox mechanism and performance. Fe‐EDTMP shows exceptional longer cycle life/stability and shifts the Fe2+/Fe3+ potential more negatively than Fe‐EDTA anolytes. Pairing PSS‐TEMPO catholyte with Fe‐EDTMP anolyte further boosts

Programable metal–organic framework (MOF) architectures are revealed as versatile micro‐ and optoelectronic platforms, spanning low/high‐κ dielectrics, semiconductive frameworks, and electrically driven phosphor‐free white emitters. Metal nodes, π‐conjugated linkers, guests, and confined water emerge as decisive handles for tuning charge transport ...

Effect of different irrigation solutions on the push-out bond strength of bioceramic and resin-based root canal sealers: An in vitro study [PDF]
Background: The aim of this study was to compare the effect of continuous chelation using Dual Rinse hydroxyethylidene diphosphonate (HEDP) as a single irrigant with 17% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and 0.2% chitosan on the push-out bond ...

HEDP and new directions for fusion energy
Abstract Magnetic-confinement fusion energy and inertia-confinement fusion energy (IFE) represent two extreme approaches to the quest for the application of thermonuclear fusion to electrical energy generation. Blind pursuit of these extreme approaches has long delayed the achievement of their common goal.

Time‐Dependent Debridement Quality of the SAF Infinitum System in Flat‐Shaped Root Canals
ABSTRACT Aim To evaluate the shaping ability, debris removal efficiency and morphological alterations induced by the SAF Infinitum system during progressive instrumentation of flat‐shaped root canals of mandibular incisors. Methodology Twelve extracted mandibular incisors with flat‐shaped canals were selected using micro‐CT and instrumented with 1.5‐mm

ALEGRA-HEDP simulations of the dense plasma focus. [PDF]
We have carried out 2D simulations of three dense plasma focus (DPF) devices using the ALEGRA-HEDP code and validated the results against experiments. The three devices included two Mather-type machines described by Bernard et. al. and the Tallboy device currently in operation at NSTec in North Las Vegas.

Advanced high resolution x-ray diagnostic for HEDP experiments [PDF]
AbstractHigh resolution X-ray imaging is crucial for many high energy density physics (HEDP) experiments. Recently developed techniques to improve resolution have, however, come at the cost of a decreased field of view. In this paper, an innovative experimental detector for X-ray imaging in the context of HEDP experiments with high spatial resolution ...

Cyotoxicity of Etidronate as an Endodontic Chelator Against Periodontal Ligament Fibroblast
ABSTRACT Etidronic acid (HEBP) causes fewer alterations in dentine and can be used mixed with sodium hypochlorite during root canal preparation. This study investigated the cytotoxicity effects of the HEDP and EDTA on human periodontal ligament fibroblast cells. Primary culture was established from human periodontal ligament tissue of one donor and was
