Effect of the Diurnal Atmospheric Bulge on Satellite Accelerations [PDF]
Formulas are developed to express the secular acceleration of a satellite on passing through an atmosphere which bulges in the sunward direction and in which the scale height increases with height, these two properties of the high atmosphere having ...

This study demonstrates that in high‐alloy systems, nanoclusters with high solute tolerance can effectively suppress compositional segregation. This mitigation leads to a concurrent 18.7% increase in strength and 41.5% improvement in ductility, which is attributed to a shear‐bypass synergistic strengthening mechanism. The findings provide a new pathway

Annealing‐Induced Plasticity and Strengthening in Metallic Glasses
This work challenges the dogma that annealing inevitably embrittles metallic glasses. We demonstrate that sub‐Tg annealing, guided by positive mixing enthalpy and constrained kinetics, can drive a self‐organized compositional fluctuation that creates an interface‐free heterogeneous structure.

Research on Resistive Switching Mechanism of SnO2/SnS2 Based Heterojunction Memory Devices
This work fabricates SnO2/SnS2 RRAM using (NH4)4Sn2S6, achieving 224 pJ set energy at 0.4 V with >1000‐cycle stability and 4 × 104 s retention. XPS/SEM/AFM‐validated interfacial engineering enables uniform switching, advancing low‐power neuromorphic memory development.

Observed sea surface height and modeled dynamic height anomaly departures in the tropical Pacific Ocean: 1986-1989 [PDF]
Observations of sea surface height departure (SSH') from November 1986 through September 1989 in the tropical Pacific from the improved (T2) GEOSAT data set (Cheney et al., 1991) are compared with monthly mean dynamic height anomaly departure (Delta D') from the ''second reanalysis'' using the NOAA ocean analysis system (Ji et al., 1994, 1995).

Surface engineering of gate dielectrics with fluorinated self–assembled monolayers significantly improves the performance of organic field–effect transistors. In this study, Al2O3 functionalized with fluorinated phosphonic acids reduces contact resistance and hysteresis while achieving near‐zero threshold voltages, offering an alternative to ...
