The Ricci-Bourguignon flow on Heisenberg and quaternion Lie groups [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
In this paper, we study the Ricci-Bourguignon flow on higher dimensional classical Heisenberg nilpotent Lie groups and construct a solution of this flow on Heisenberg and quaternion nilpotent Lie groups. In the end, we investigate the deformation of spectrum and length spectrum on compact nilmanifolds obtained of Heisenberg and quaternion nilpotent Lie

Directional Macrocycle Transport, Release, and Recapture Enabled by a Rotaxane Transporter

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This study represents a bistable rotaxane that enables the directional shuttling, release, and recapture of a dibenzo‐24‐crown‐8 macrocycle upon addition of suitable chemical stimuli. This two‐step molecular transport and release can be followed by NMR and distinct changes in the molecular fluorescence. Based on rational molecular design, the liberated

Uniqueness of a positive solution for quasilinear elliptic equations in Heisenberg group

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
In this note we address the question of uniqueness of the Brezis-Oswald problem for the p-Laplacian operator in Heisenberg Group.

Positive Harmonic Functions on the Heisenberg group I [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
We present the classification of positive harmonic functions on the Heisenberg group in the case of the southwest measure.

Lp$L^{p}$ and BMO bounds for weighted Hardy operators on the Heisenberg group

open access: yes, 2016
In the setting of the Heisenberg group Hn$\mathbb{H}^{n}$, we characterize those nonnegative functions w defined on [0,1]$[0,1]$ for which the weighted Hardy operator Hw$\mathsf{H}_{w}$ is bounded on Lp(Hn)$L^{p}(\mathbb{H}^{n})$, 1≤p≤∞$1\leq p\leq\infty$

Ultrasmall Gold Nanoparticles (2 nm) Decorated with a High Density of Photochemically Switchable Ligands

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Photoswitchable azo ligands can be conjugated to the surface of ultrasmall gold nanoparticles with a high density (about 50 ligands on each nanoparticle). Their photoswitching is not constrained by the binding to the gold surface and can be used to induce a nematic‐to‐isotropic phase transition in a liquid crystal.

Heisenberg Groups as Platform for the AAG key-exchange protocol [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
Garber, Kahrobaei, and Lam studied polycyclic groups generated by number field as platform for the AAG key-exchange protocol. In this paper, we discuss the use of a different kind of polycyclic groups, Heisenberg groups, as a platform group for AAG by submitting Heisenberg groups to one of AAG's major attacks, the length-based attack.

Boundary conditions and universal finite‐size scaling for the hierarchical |φ|4$|\varphi |^4$ model in dimensions 4 and higher

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
Abstract We analyse and clarify the finite‐size scaling of the weakly‐coupled hierarchical n$n$‐component |φ|4$|\varphi |^4$ model for all integers n≥1$n \ge 1$ in all dimensions d≥4$d\ge 4$, for both free and periodic boundary conditions. For d>4$d>4$, we prove that for a volume of size Rd$R^{d}$ with periodic boundary conditions the infinite‐volume ...

p-Mechanics and De Donder-Weyl Theory

open access: yes, 2003
The orbit method of Kirillov is used to derive the p-mechanical brackets [quant-ph/0212101]. They generate the quantum (Moyal) and classic (Poisson) brackets on respective orbits corresponding to representations of the Heisenberg group.
