Gauged supergravity from dimensional reduction [PDF]
We perform a generalised Scherk-Schwarz reduction of the effective action of the heterotic string on T6 to obtain a massive N = 4 supergravity theory in four dimensions.

Achieving Large and Anisotropic Spin‐Mediated Thermal Transport in Textured Quantum Magnets
An advanced solvent‐cast cold pressing method is developed to synthesize highly textured quantum magnets. By aligning spin chains in Ca2CuO3 perpendicular to the pressing direction, a spin‐mediated thermal conductivity of 10 ± 1 W m⁻¹ K⁻¹ is achieved, the highest reported for polycrystalline quantum materials.

EuSc₂Te₄, an antiferromagnetic semiconductor, exhibits a nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE) characterized by quadratic current–voltage behavior. Combined experimental and theoretical studies reveal that this NLHE is linked to its antiferromagnetism and involves contributions from the quantum metric.

Nuclear Quantum Confinement Enables Robust Deuterium Bonds for Highly Reversible Aluminum Anodes
Quantum confinement by leveraging D as a quantum bridge is engineered to tailor stronger intra‐ and intermolecular D‐bonds, effectively suppressing water reactivity and achieving exceptional HER inhibition. The induced Al3+ solvation structures further inhibit the decomposition of water at the interface and improve Al redox reversibility.

High‐Entropy Magnetism of Murunskite
The study of murunskite (K2FeCu3S4) reveals that its magnetic and orbital order emerges in a simple I4/mmm crystal structure with complete disorder in the transition metal positions. Mixed‐valence Fe ions randomly occupy 1/4 of the tetrahedral sites, with the remaining 3/4 being filled by non‐magnetic Cu+ ions.

Plant and Floret Growth at Distinct Developmental Stages During the Stem Elongation Phase in Wheat
Floret development is critical for grain setting in wheat (Triticum aestivum), but more than 50% of grain yield potential (based on the maximum number of floret primordia) is lost during the stem elongation phase (SEP, from the terminal spikelet stage to

Laplacian coflow on the $7$-dimensional Heisenberg group [PDF]
We study the Laplacian coflow and the modified Laplacian coflow of $G_2$-structures on the $7$-dimensional Heisenberg group. For the Laplacian coflow we show that the solution is always ancient, that is it is defined in some interval $(-\infty,T)$, with $

Hypoellipticity on the Heisenberg group
AbstractLet P be a left-invariant differential operator on the Heisenberg group Hn, P homogeneous with respect to the dilations on Hn. We show that a necessary and sufficient condition for the hypoellipticity of P is that π(P) be an injective operator for every irreducible unitary representation π of Hn (except the trivial representation). Furthermore,

From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Spherical-Radial Multipliers on the Heisenberg Group
Let Hn be the (2n+1)-dimensional Heisenberg group. We consider a radial Fourier multiplier which is a spherical function on Hn and show that it is a Herz-Schur multiplier.
