One parameter family of S-tangent surfaces

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Technology, 2015
In this paper, we study S-tangent surfaces according to Sabban frame in the Lorentzian Heisenberg group Heis³. We obtain differential equations about in terms of their geodesic curvatures in the Lorentzian Heisenberg group Heis³.

Bond and Antibond Resonances: A Unified Framework for Singlet Biradical Character

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The electronic structure of a variety of singlet biradicaloids may be described in the Lewis picture using single antibonds as the central bonding motif. In conjunction with a consistent set of biradical indicators, we can resolve some long‐standing disputes over the biradical character of molecules such as O3 and S2N2.

An improved Hardy type inequality on Heisenberg group

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2011
Motivated by the work of Ghoussoub and Moradifam, we prove some improved Hardy inequalities on the Heisenberg group ℍ n via Bessel function.

Barley Leaf Area and Leaf Growth Rates Are Maximized during the Pre-Anthesis Phase

open access: yesAgronomy, 2015
Leaf developmental traits are an important component of crop breeding in small-grain cereals. Surprisingly, little is known about the genetic basis for the differences in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) leaf development. The two barley row-type classes, i.e.

Orbits of mutually unbiased bases

open access: yes, 2014
We express Alltop's construction of mutually unbiased bases as orbits under the Weyl-Heisenberg group in prime dimensions and find a related construction in dimensions 2 and 4.

Diffusion of Carbamazepine in Hydrophobic Zeolites: A Comparative Study Using Classical and Machine‐Learned Potentials

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Can hydrophobic, shape‐selective zeolites efficiently remove the persistent pharmaceutical CBZ from water? This work moves beyond the static picture of interaction energies by modeling diffusion with umbrella sampling and machine‐learned potentials. Even high intrinsic diffusion barriers can be overcome through exergonic adsorption from water, yielding

Selective Modification of the Product Profile of Biocatalytic Hydrolyzed PET via Product‐Specific Medium Engineering

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
The product profile of enzymatically hydrolyzed PET can be modified by medium engineering and thereby adapted to a desired product. TPA, MHET or BHET can be forced as the predominant product using a basic pH (blue), 25 % ethylene glycol (EG) and IsPETasewt (green) or ≥25 % EG and LCCICCG (pink), respectively.

Existence for (p, q) critical systems in the Heisenberg group

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2019
This paper deals with the existence of entire nontrivial solutions for critical quasilinear systems (𝓢) in the Heisenberg group ℍn, driven by general (p, q) elliptic operators of Marcellini types.

A Three‐Dimensional Structural Model for Predicting Magnetic Exchange and Hydrogen Positions in Bis‐μ‐Hydroxido Cu(II) Dimers

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Magneto‐structural correlation in bis‐μ‐hydroxido Cu(II) dimers: The out‐of‐plane angle (α) of bridging hydroxido groups critically influences the exchange coupling constant (J). A three‐dimensional correlation combining α and the Cu‐OH‐Cu angle (θ) enables computationally accurate J prediction.

p-Mechanics and De Donder-Weyl Theory

open access: yes, 2003
The orbit method of Kirillov is used to derive the p-mechanical brackets [quant-ph/0212101]. They generate the quantum (Moyal) and classic (Poisson) brackets on respective orbits corresponding to representations of the Heisenberg group.
