Historical demography of Mullerian mimicry in the neotropical Heliconius butterflies
We compare the historical demographies of two Mullerian comimetic butterfly species: Heliconius erato and Heliconius melpomene. These species show an extensive parallel geographic divergence in their aposematic wing phenotypes.
