Highly Selective Toward HER or CO2RR by Regulating Cu Single and Dual Atoms on g‐C3N4
This systematic study provides insights into the design of electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and carbon dioxide reduction (CO2RR). It serves as a useful guide for tuning catalyst architecture toward efficient multifunctional performance by varying synthetic parameters, demonstrating the impact of copper (Cu) species ranging from ...

Influence of a plasma jet on the hydrodynamics of a helium jet [PDF]
In this paper, we present a study of the influence of non-equilibrium microplasma jets (“plasma bullets”) on the hydrodynamics of a helium jet operating in open air.

Neutrino Degeneracy and Chemically Inhomogeneous Universe [PDF]
A possibility that the universe may be strongly inhomogeneous chemically, while very smooth energetically, is considered. A possible mechanism which could lead to such a picture is a large and inhomogeneous lepton asymmetry.

It is demonstrated that severe lattice distortion and coherent nanoprecipitates overcome the strength–ductility dilemma and mitigate discontinuous plastic flow (DPF) at 4.2 K. Such microstructural design enhances both thermal and athermal stress components, leading to exceptional mechanical performance.

Helium Atmospheres on Warm Neptune- and Sub-Neptune-Sized Exoplanets and Applications to GJ 436 b [PDF]
Warm Neptune- and sub-Neptune-sized exoplanets in orbits smaller than Mercury's are thought to have experienced extensive atmospheric evolution. Here we propose that a potential outcome of this atmospheric evolution is the formation of helium-dominated ...

Quantifying Spin Defect Density in hBN via Raman and Photoluminescence Analysis
An all‐optical method is presented for quantifying the density of boron vacancy spin defects in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). By correlating Raman and photoluminescence signals with irradiation fluence, defect‐induced Raman modes are identified and established an relationship linking optical signatures to absolute defect densities. This enables direct

Self‐Trapped Hole Migration and Defect‐Mediated Thermal Quenching of Luminescence in α‐ and β‐Ga2O3
Temperature‐dependent photoluminescence and first‐principles calculations reveal self‐trapped hole migration as the microscopic origin of thermal quenching in α‐ and β‐Ga2O3. The low migration barrier in α‐Ga2O3 enables defect trapping and enhances blue luminescence, while the higher barrier in β‐Ga2O3 preserves ultraviolet emission at elevated ...
