Models of helium enrichment in helium-rich gas reservoirs of petroliferous basins in China

open access: diamondNatural Gas Industry B, 2023
Owing to the characteristics of chemical inertness, low molecular weight, low boiling point, strong permeability and high heat conductivity, helium is extensively used in the fields of aerospace, low-temperature superconductivity, medicine and high tech,

X-rays from antiprotonic helium in helium gas [PDF]

open access: greenNuclear Physics A, 1982
Abstract X-ray transitions to the 4F, 3D, and 2P atomic levels of pHe have been observed with antiprotons stopped in He gas at 4 and 1.1 atm NT. The population by radiative transitions of the 3D level in gas Y M (4 atm ) = (28±14)% and Y M (1.1 atm ) = (43±22)% exceeds by more than one order of magnitude that measured in liquid He.

The role of helium gas in medicine. [PDF]

open access: yesMed Gas Res, 2013
The noble gas helium has many applications owing to its distinct physical and chemical characteristics, namely: its low density, low solubility, and high thermal conductivity. Chiefly, the abundance of studies in medicine relating to helium are concentrated in its possibility of being used as an adjunct therapy in a number of respiratory ailments such ...

Speech alarm and cycle helium gas monitoring of helium refrigerator

open access: hybridIndian Journal of Cryogenics, 2014
Two helium liquefiers are running round-the-clock in parallel. One of them is always connected to the Superconducting Cyclotron in refrigeration mode. EPICS based alarm system is running with alert sound in computer speaker. But the fault cannot be located without opening the fault screen.

Helium Gas Scintillation [PDF]

open access: yesReview of Scientific Instruments, 1965
A gas scintillation counter is described which operates to 40 atm pressure. An attempt was made to maximize the scintillation light output in helium. Helium scintillation properties studied with this counter include the effect of various wall-coating materials, gas-purity effects, the linearity of pulse height with energy, and the variation of pulse ...

Classified characteristics of helium gas resources and controlling factors for the enrichment

open access: yesShiyou shiyan dizhi, 2023
The lack of helium resources accounts for the limited helium supply in China. It is of great significance to classify of helium-enriched natural gas according to the characteristics of helium reservoirs and the main controlling factors of helium ...
