In Situ Raman Spectroscopic Studies on Iron‐Based Catalysts During CO2 Fischer–Tropsch Synthesis

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Raman spectroscopy was employed to monitor iron‐catalzyed CO2‐Fischer–Tropsch synthesis toward higher hydrocarbons with alkali metal‐doped ferrous oxalate as precatalyst. The thermal transformation of MFeC2O4 into Fe3O4 as the major phase did not show a significant dependency on the presence and type of alkali metal dopant.

Impact of Co Doping in MoS2 on Water Interaction Mechanisms for Sustainable Hydrogen Generation: Insights from In Situ Soft‐XAS

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
The in situ soft‐X‐ray absorption spectroscopy characterizations in the presence of water vapor and by applying a bias revealed the Co‐doping effects in dichalcogenide MoS2 systems for water‐splitting applications. In this article, we study, at the atomic level, the evolution of Co and Mo sites in the different environmental conditions in Co‐doped and ...

Efficient Anodized WO3 Photoanode for Photoelectrocatalytic Applications: Hydrogen Production and Reduction of CO2

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Tungsten oxide nanostructures prepared by hydrodynamic anodization using an ionic liquid present optimal photoelectrochemical performance as catalysts in the water splitting reaction and in the CO2 reduction. Abstract In this work, a nanostructured WO3 photoanode has been used for photoelectrochemical H2 production and CO2 reduction.
